U21 semi-final replay today

posted 6 Apr 2015, 01:49 by Garret Byrne

Kinvara and Killimordaly lock horns again today in the semi-final replay of this years U21 B Hurling Championship (in Loughrea at 5pm).
Both sides scored 1-13 the last time out, in a testing day for hurling with pelting rain and wind. Today's weather is very different and this should give for a different game from these two very good hurling sides.
Last time out nearly all the scores came from Conor Whelan  0-13 (Kinvara) and Brian Burke 0-11 (Killimordaly), so whatever team is going to win may need a better spread of scorers today. Kinvara are still without the talents of Ollie Nilan (Oz), while both Ronan Kilkelly and Gary Kilkelly are doubtful starters due to injuries.
Kinvara panel:
Daragh Kilkelly, Stephen Bermingham, Tadhg Reynolds, Shane Byrne, James Cronin-Rodger, Eanna Linnane, Jason O'Connor, Nessan O'Hanrahan, Mark Bermingham, Sean Linnane, James O'Hara, Alan Keane, Tommie Kavanagh, Conor Whelan, Rory Cullinane, Ronan Kilkelly, Liam Byrne, Dylan O'Hanrahan, John Donoghue, Gary Kilkelly, Conor O'Shea, Patrick Gallagher and Keelan O'Rourke.
