Senior Hurling League update

posted 3 May 2014, 00:06 by Garret Byrne
Kinvara's recent win over Kilnadeema-Leitrim keeps alive our chances of reaching the knockout stages of this years Senior Hurling League. We have just one more game to play, against Turloughmore, and a win in that will be a must. Unfortunately our scoring difference may end up working against us as we shipped two large defeats to both Kiltormer and Mullagh.
In our group both those above mentioned teams of Kiltormer and Mullagh look at this stage to be good to finish in the top four, with Beagh, Turloughmore and Kinvara to battle it out for the two remaining spots.

There is a break at the moment to give way to the SHC, but there is a round of matches provisional fixed for the weekend of 29th Jun. For Kinvara, we have just one match left, and that is in the book for the weekend of either 10th or 16th of August.

Note: Top 4 teams qualify for the League preliminary quarter-finals.
