Kinvara GAA Auction

The Kinvara Auction was an incredible success. There was over 200 lots for auction with a further 300 items for sale on the day.

The event received huge support from the local community in South Galway and North Clare, local families gave generously - everything from cash donations to toys, household goods, unwanted gifts and vouchers. The farming community gave animal feed such as bales of silage, haylage and hay. There was calves, ponies and fowl. Others gave feeding troughs, timber and turf. All local business gave generously in the form of vouchers, hampers and direct donations.

A large crowd came on the day and were more than willing to buy from our stalls or participate in the auction that was expertly ran by local auctioneer Gerry Finnerty.

Kinvara GAA are extremely indebted to everyone who helped make the day a huge success - the committee workers, the collection teams, the helpers on the day, the household and business community of Kinvara and South Galway and all who supported a great community day.
