Its all to play for in this years U16 B1 Hurling Championship, as Kinvara take the short trip to Ballindereen for a key match in what is a must win game. With Ballindereen and Portumna already secured a semi-final slot, the real battle takes place behind them with 5 teams all on 4 points, and only two to come out of it for the championship semi-finals (note. all other teams will be in the shield semi-finals). Ballindereen have impressed so far, winning all 5 our of 5 matches. Kinvara's form has been mixed, with last weeks win over Skehana being their best performance to date. But all the players will have to improve on that show if we are to get the win against Ballindereen. Most of the lads on both sides are classmates on Seamount College, and each will be hoping for the bragging rights come Tuesday morning.
